RA2L2 from Renesas
Built on a 48 MHz Arm® Cortex®- M23 core, the RA2LS from Renesas is an entry-level single-chip microcontroller in their RA Family. With up to 128 KB of code flash and 16 KB of SRAM, it is an efficient compact solution for embedded applications. Leveraging Renesas’ low-power process technology and optimized processing, the RA2L2 is the industry’s most energy efficient and ultra-low power MCU.
The RA2L2 is ideal for battery-powered, space-constrained applications requiring high performance and low power consumption. With a wide operating voltage range (1.6V to 5.5V), the RA2L2 supports USB Type-C®, USB Full-Speed (FS) without crystal, CAN, I3C, low power UART, SSI, and other serial communication functions. Offering pin-to-pin compatibility across other RA groups, it offers a smooth path for scaling or upgrading within the Renesas ecosystem.
