Purpose-built for railway applications, the RPA20-FR from RECOM is a compact board-mount 4:1 input DC/DC converter that delivers 20W across a 36V–160VDC input range. Capable of handling peaks up to 200VDC for one second, it operates from -40°C to 70°C in normal conditions, or up to 105°C with derating.

The RPA2-FR also provides fully regulated, low-noise outputs from 5V to 24V. Leveraging EN 45545-2, EN 50155 compliance, and UL/IEC/EN 62368-1 compliance, its reinforced 3kVAC isolation and components support EMC ‘Class A’ levels as well as rail EMC standard EN 50121-3-2.
