NI’s FieldDAQ™

Built to withstand 100 Gs of shock, NI’s FieldDAQ™ is a high-performance DAQ device purpose-built to deliver lab-grade measurement accuracy even in the harshest conditions. NI FieldDAQ is designed to take measurements as close to the sensor as possible, minimizing signal degradation and maximizing data fidelity.


Engineering for Durability

With an IP65/IP67-rated enclosure, the FieldDAQ is fully protected against water, dust, and debris. In addition to its reliable performance under intense shock, it can withstand up to10 grms of vibration. With a wide operating range of -40 °C to 85 °C, FieldDAQ solutions are optimal in all-weather scenarios. Its industrial-grade M12 connectors prevent cable detachment during operation, while channel-to-channel isolation (60 V DC continuous/1,000 VRMS transient) protects against ground loops and high-voltage transients.


Precision Measurement with Synchronized Performance

FieldDAQ synergizes extreme durability with high-performance data acquisition, offering 24-bit resolution and simultaneous sampling up to 100kS/s per channel. Its thermally stable design minimizes accuracy drift across a wide temperature range, while built-in signal conditioning features like filtering, shunt calibration, and open thermocouple detection enhance measurement precision. With Time Sensitive Networking (TSN), it achieves sub-microsecond synchronization across distributed systems, enabling scalable, tightly coordinated measurements without external switches or complex wiring.
