Next Generation USB Data Acquisition (DAQ) Devices


Available through Braemac, a National Instruments (NI) authorized distributor partner, are the new mioDAQ devices, the latest in USB data acquisition technology. Available from lowest cost to highest performance (USB-6421, USB-6423, USB-6451 and USB-6453 Series), these devices feature ±10 V input and output channels, TTL digital lines, and NI’s patented counter/timer architecture enabling engineers, researchers, and test professionals to accomplish hundreds of tasks including Measurement, Automation and Generation.

NI’s mioDAQ also includes industry-leading DAQ Software with Free logging software — NI FlexLogger™ Lite, Seamless LabVIEW integration and Documented APIs with example programs for Python, C/C++, C#, and more.

Each mioDAQ device comes with the following items:

  • One 2 m USB-C to USB-C cable with locking screw

  • Spring terminals with back shells for strain relief

  • NI screwdriver


Software Set-Up Resources:

NI LabView: LabVIEW is a graphical programming environment that provides an intuitive approach to developing data acquisition applications, with specialized timing, analysis, and custom user interfaces.


FlexLogger: FlexLogger enables quick—no-programming required—sensor configuration and mixed-signal data logging. You can use FlexLogger Lite for free or subscribe to unlock additional capabilities like alarms, triggers, and calculated channels.


Python: The NI-DAQmx package is implemented in Python and available on GitHub. It supports CPython 3.8+ and PyPy3, with many examples available to help you get started.


C, C++, C#, and more: NI-DAQmx is the underlying driver software for all mioDAQ devices, with APIs and documentation for ANSI C, C++, C#, VB .NET, and NI LabWindows™/CVI.
