The Renesas RX14T is an entry-level 48 MHz, 32-bit RXv2 MCU optimized for cost-sensitive motor and inverter applications. The RXv2 CPU includes an on-chip FPU and Trigonometric Function Unit (TFUv1) to support motor-control algorithms, while enhanced DSP instructions and a 48 MHz operating frequency provide up to 204 CoreMark performance. The RX14T also supports a 2.7V to 5.5V single power supply, making it suitable for designs requiring 5 V operation.

The RX14T integrates key motor-control analog and timing functions to help reduce external components and PCB size. Two 12-bit ADC units, three programmable gain amplifiers, three analog comparators, a two-channel DAC, and 48 MHz motor-control timers with three-phase complementary PWM provide integrated resources for motor-control designs. The device also supports migration from RX13T and RX23T devices, helping engineers reuse existing hardware and software while working with Renesas motor-control tools and kits.
