In a landmark achievement in connected device security, the SiXG301 has become the first SoC in the world to earn the PSA Certified Level 4 Certification. The SiX301 is the first SoC in SiLabs’ Series 3 portfolio, and represents a strategic shift as PSA Level 4 is the highest security tier offered by PSA Certified. It addresses the most advanced threats like laser fault injection, side-channel attacks, micro-probing, and voltage manipulation.

Silicon Labs has long driven innovation in their Series 2 and their prior SoCs earned PSA Levels 1-3, and now raises the bar for IoT and embedded device makers. With this certification, device manufacturers gain stronger assurance that the platform is built for resilience and longevity while easing regulatory compliance such as the EU’s RED/CRA, the U.S. Cyber Trust Mark or Singapore’s CLS.

Series 3 Key Benefits

  • Extensible: Scale across wireless platforms, protocols, and applications. Series 3 solutions support new and evolving use cases. High performance and low power enable cost-effective, high-volume IoT deployment.

  • High-Performance: Series 3 delivers 100× more processing power with an integrated AI/ML accelerator for edge intelligence. Developers can consolidate system processing into a single wireless SoC, reducing components, size, and cost.

  • Scalable: Leverage the only multi-radio platform with a unified code base across 30+ Silicon Labs devices. Flexible manufacturing and memory options reduce supply risk and ensure future-ready designs.

For makers of IoT and edge devices, the Series 3 Secure Vault on SiXG301 offers a compelling platform to build on, with security, longevity, and trust baked in.
