RECOM Power ROF-78K-0.5
The RECOM Power ROF-78K-0.5 non-isolated switching regulator series combines a 4.5 to 36VDC input range with fixed output options of 3.3V, 5V, 6.5V, 9V, 12V, 15V, or 24VDC, all rated at 0.5A. With efficiency up to 95%, the regulators provide fully regulated outputs in a compact 12.5 x 13.5 x 4.5mm open-frame SMD package. The pin-less SMD termination uses corner half-vias, allowing optical inspection of the solder joints while supporting surface-mount assembly.
The ROF-78K-0.5 operates from -40°C to +95°C without derating and up to +105°C at reduced loads, providing a wide operating range for designs with varying thermal requirements. The outputs are protected against short-circuit and over-current conditions, while input under-voltage lockout and a remote control input provide additional control and protection. The ROF-78K-0.5 provides a compact 0.5A power conversion solution with wide input capability and high efficiency.
