New PIC24F MCUs Feature Low-power Animated Display Driver for Battery-powered Devices

System developers of battery-powered and other power-conscious designs with and without LCD displays can now easily add an array of innovative features using a new line of PIC® eXtreme Low Power (XLP) microcontrollers (MCUs) from Microchip. Packed with 14 types of Core Independent Peripherals (CIPs) that operate outside the Central Processing Unit (CPU) for power savings, the PIC24F GU and GL families of MCUs feature the CIP called LCD with Autonomous Animation. 

Microchip Expands Solutions for Aerospace and Defence, Industrial and Automotive Applications

System designers have limited options for small, robust, feature-rich high-speed ADCs for extended-temperature operation. Microchip has announced it has filled this gap with its MCP37Dx1-80 family, the company’s second pipelined ADC offering and first to combine 80 MSPS in a choice of 12-, 14- and 16-bit resolutions, integrated digital features and qualification to a higher temperature range, including Automotive Electronics Council (AEC) Q100.
